Received mine about the same time as you yesterday evening. Immigration didn't have a holiday yesterday though.
Submitted 25 April, approved 1 May. CW office

Am I supposed to print the receipt of notification (and carry it with me)?

It doesn't say so in the email and I am too lazy to do it.

This has not been my experience.   Last time I attempted to submit online two weeks prior to the due date.  It was rejected with seven days remaining to report.   I then mailed it

The TM47 form or the Receipt of Notification form ?

I did say the form to print out, or did you miss that bit, the one you staple in the back of your passport.

There are two forms issued on an online 90 days report so why so cryptic. Just state Receipt of Notification …. if that’s the one you are referring to ?

I got it: the Receipt of Notification says "Keep in passport"

So I will print it.

one does not staple anything to one's passport, only rogue Thai immigration does something as silly as that.

3 business days. Submitted last week.

Update from OP:

I did it by mail yesterday as recommended by the first 2 posters.

Online still "pending", 3 days now.

My friend whom I mentioned never got a reaction online, he tried twice. Because of the upcoming holiday,  today is his last day of the grace period.  So he is spending another day at CW right now.

They never bothered to answer or send anything back.

I got approved online, and the mail application entered nirwana

Today I received the approved mailed application.

(It took only a bit more than a month)

Now I am the proud owner of 2 *notification of 90 days":

One that i printed out after doing it online (took a week), states next one is due July 24.

One that I received by mail (took a month), states next one is due August 7th.

:)

I guess I try online on July 17.

Ignore mail receipt.

Follow the online report due date.

I did this.

I got the reminder email for the next 90d notification a couple of days ago.

Due date was given as in the online receipt.

I applied online 14 days before this due date.

Got rejected after 5 days.

Reason: "you can apply within 15 days before the due date".

So maybe they follow the mail receipt.

This is really a PITA.
