ikke1959 Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 Follow the money of the sales of the masks and see why and who is keeping them on the face of the people here. Maybe without them there would be group immunity that was better 1 1

This means nothing in Thailand, filled with fear from three years of brain washing, a mere positive ATK test and some snuffles fueled with a bit of post-songkran media hysteria, would get you admitted in-patient at any hospital across Thailand. How many of these 2000 - a tiny number anyway - are on verge of dying - and if it was 2000 its still tiny. disproportional and idiotic to march back to 2021 madness 7 2

Article never even mentions masking. 20 white knights charge in to protect the wee ones from certain death of masks. Covids over covids over covids over so why the heck do you guys keep opening up covid articles and commenting? I dare say if there were constant threads on unicorns or mermaids I'd have no trouble skipping past them. But for 3 years the anti covid crowd has to keep piping up their opinion, gawd you lot are worse than vegans! ???? 1 1 2

Popular Post Kevin Taylor Posted May 9, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2023 2 hours ago, TallGuyJohninBKK said: Of course the COVID hospitalization and death numbers are relevant... for this reason. School age children, these days amid Omicron, are at a relatively low risk for serious health problems themselves from COVID... BUT..... Thais often tend to live in multi-generational homes. So the bigger risk is Junior catches COVID at school where it's spreading, goes home, and spreads it to Thai grandpa and grandma, and THEY end up in the hospital with COVID... The authorities are correct to be mindful of the risks of COVID spreading among school age children. That's all the same nonsense some people were saying at the height of covid. All of it was proved false. Masking doesn't work it only causes social problems for kids. Move on the natural immune system is a wonderful thing, let it do its job. 1 2 2

It would seem the usual person/s do not understand there is a difference. Go to hospital because of Covid or go to hospital for something else and test positive in the screening process with Covid. It's a very simple concept to understand. Without a proper breakdown we don't know but my guess is a high % would be incidental i.e. not there for Covid but have covid. Why is there no data on this? Why is there no data on comorbidities and age? The figures are just raw figures and without a breakdown of these influences on the numbers it pretty much makes them just an overview. What can't be argued is the numbers are absolutely very, very low compared to the Delta era. We are no longer there. That was the past. Omicron is the present and would seem to be the future. A non-fatal, non-serious virul infection for the majority of the global population. 3 4

Answer is because covid 19 is still lurking in the background and another pandemic is to be avoided , no chances taken . Prevention is better than cure . 1 3
