Eleven People Injured After Passenger Minivan Crash in Phatthalung

Phatthalung – A driver has sustained severe injuries while 11 passengers have sustained minor injuries after a minivan crashed into a trailer truck in Pabon.


The Pabon Police were notified of the accident on Tuesday (May 9th) on the Trang – Song Khla Road. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the damaged minivan on the road at the back of the trailer truck.

 

Inside the minivan rescue teams found the driver, Mr. Sirichai Soosoe, 48, who had sustained severe injuries.

They need to mandate speed tracking devices attached to these minibuses, I rarely traveled in one with a good driver, a to b or visa runs, Hua Hin - bangkok is prime example, take an hour or so longer to get a big bus but much safer.

Ms. Nawarat Suwannakan, who was one of the minivan passengers, told Thai media that the passenger minivan driver was driving very fast from Trang.

The 11 can call themselves lucky that the damned tin can didn't go up in flames like so often.
