Why not obtain 60 day extension to visit Thai wife.

If you have not already used your two allowed visa exempt entries by land in 2023, you should be able to do a border bounce for a fresh visa exempt entry.

 

Alternatively, if you have not already extended your current entry, you can apply for a 30-day extension at immigration to provide the time needed for the visa application.

I have used extensions 

30+.60

Only used  one 45 day exempt.

Was supposed to apply last week but wife fell ill .

 

Bloody io if I applied today I have 15 days they would not allow joke!

 

Maybe give 90 day non o a try in Laos first !
