Tucker Carlson drops first episode of bare-bones Twitter show

Fired Fox News host Tucker Carlson released the first episode of what he says will be a new Twitter-based version of his old show on Tuesday night, a 10-minute monologue tinged with conspiratorial thinking and drenched with disdain for other media and political figures.

Carlson alluded briefly to his surprise dismissal from Fox, claiming that a “small group of people” control the nation’s flow of information and forbid discussion “that really matters.”

Carlson picked up some of his usual, conspiracy-theory-tinged topics and sympathies to the Russian government in the video, calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “sweaty and rat-like” and suggesting without evidence that Ukraine was responsible for the destruction of a major dam on its territory.

Say what you will about the My Pillow Guy, he's always available for a chat. Why isn't Trump helping him out? Other than that he said he hates Trump 97 times? Who in their right mind would want to be on his show or give him some juicy leak?

 

Without Fox, and without putting any of his own money in, he' justs another a talk-radio opinionater. Except now you have to actually watch it instead just hearing it in your car. He had weeks to debut and that thin gruel was the best he could dredge up?

With barebones production on a budget that must be a tiny fraction of that of CNN he gets 91.5 MILLION views. I wonder how that compares to CNN or MSNBC? What are their viewing figures looking like Must be 100 or 200 million if they are mocking Tucker?

 

For the record the democrat mainstream media average less than 500,000 views for their primetime flagship segments. No wonder the are in a flap !!!!

A one second click counts as a view. People laughing at him counts as a view. Robo-accounts count as views. Twitter routinely cooks their numbers.

 

Ask Glen Beck how he did with white board post-Fox. And Beck at least has a website.

This is some of the typical right-wing propaganda.  The number of views has little to do with the number of watchers.  But it sounds like that's about all they have.  For those who are interested, take a look at the front page of any section of the forum, and it will show you the number of views and the number of replies.   Some of those topics have thousands of views but very few responses.

Exactly, Musk changed the view count metrics, now a view is counted just by the tweet being served up without clicking on the video, before he rolled it out fully he left the real metric on the android twitter app:

You sound very angry about someone simply sharing their views on Twitter that you happen to disagree with.  Have you given any consideration to the fact that you might be the one with anger issues rather than the people who watch his content?
