Thailand does have extradition treaties with China.

 

An additional note: China recently implemented a law that makes it an illegal offense to openly express dissent remarks against or about the Chinese communist party for any foreign national residing in any country, believe it or not. So watch what you say if you transit through China because they probably got the goods on you from data mining tiktok and other platforms, seriously.

Haven't been to China for 15 years. But before that went 4 or 5 times. Apart from the unfriendliness of the people, general awful asthetics of the place, lack of trees and greenery, surveillance towers with mirrored windows everywhere and generally horrible food....felt intimidated the whole time I was there. Never felt like they were fond of Westerners
