On July 26, 2023, Nivatichai Kesammongkol, the secretary of Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), addressed inquiries regarding Pita Limcharoenrat, an MP by party-list (currently suspended by the Constitutional Court) of the Move Forward Party.

Pita is under scrutiny for his management of inheritance shares in iTV Co., Ltd., comprising 42,000 shares. Nivatichai pointed out that although some documentation arrived late, the NACC's primary concern is asset verification, not eligibility, which falls under the Election Commission and the Constitutional Court, reported Siam Rath.

"Some submit documents later than usual. However, when you compare Pita’s 42,000 iTV shares to his declared assets worth 100 million baht, it doesn’t seem he's hiding anything," commented Nivatichai.

Additionally, a land sale involving approximately 14 rai in Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, valued at 18 million baht but sold for merely 6 million baht, is also under the NACC's lens, with Nivatichai suggesting a preliminary probe into the significant price discrepancy.

It's amazing the lengths the corrupt will go to to weed out the corrupt they don't want!

No toleration for young up-starts in the camp.

Maybe Pita isn't as fresh and clean as he looks....

Where's there's smoke, there's a fire!

There must be a huge conflagration around Prayuth then, but nobody really knows his worth as he REFUSES to release any details at all.

At least Pita stood for election, which is something that Prayuth has NEVER done.

Is this not to be expected? Some unreasonable expectations here, I think. The default position when looking at any politician is...you lie. The issue here is he is unwanted, therefore those who want him gone will out him. Those who are part of the trough will cover their arses but tattle on those who don't play the game.
