Used to be, you didn't write each-other a snail mail letter once a year, but everything was fine with each-other... the ol' NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS concept has officially LEFT THE BUILDING ladies and gents!

Nope, nowadays, if you don't answer a phone message within 15 minutes... SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED!

If you don't answer an email within, say, a day or two... SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED!

Now, god forbid that you should AND take some time off work AND turn OFF the phone(s) AND not reply to emails, and NOT BE HOME to answer the door... SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED! Nah, you're dead, surely!

I mean, who'd think to cut yourself off and go and sit in a field for a day pondering life. Or sit by a river fishin for a day of quiet, or whatever.

Nope.

Now, who hasn't posted in over an hour? I'm gonna go and post some "What happened to...?" and "Where is...? Threads.
