So what happens to the buyers where the Company has been charged and faces the courts this month   I thought japanese investors bailed out this project already what about their moneys.

"....state agencies did not perform in accordance with their duties. She added that this allowed the property developer to proceed with an illegal project,..." Okay, so the developer thought the project was legal, which is reasonable. "We shouldn't have permitted this project, so now you must tear it down and refund money"? Seems the state agencies are the ones who should have to pay up.... I know, brown envelope confusion and all that....

1. The foundation being referenced in the OP is, AFAIK, a private entity with no power to compel the project's developers to do anything. And thus far, I don't recall hearing anything publicly from the developer offering refunds.

2. Prior news reports said the Bangkok governor was supposed to be announcing some resolution of the roadway access issue for the project in the next couple days.

Must be that buyers were rich and influential...

Not necessarily true.

Many naive buyers would be thinking; it's a big company so it will all be above board and legal and famous name / family family developers, great status value, so go ahead and buy.
