Well-known actor Thai-German Mario Maurer was questioned today (Wednesday) by Cyber Crime Suppression Bureau (CCIB) officers, as a witness in a case in which he bought a vintage car issued with registration document based on doctored information.

The actor, who’s Thai name is Natthawut Suwannarat, said he is not worried at all and has cooperated with the police by providing information about how he bought the car and from whom.

Pol Maj-Gen Amnat Traipote, CCIB deputy commissioner, said Marui told police that he bought the car for 1.5 million baht last December from an acquaintance, whom he has known for a long time and whom he trusted, adding, however, that he has not yet taken delivery of the car.

'65 cars, mostly vintage, which were found to be issued with car registrations based on doctored information, but only 16 have been seized by the police to date.'

Starting with the Lo-sos and working up to those connected, giving them time to think of a good story (AKA lie) or book a ticket to Dubai.
