usually when buying 1st class insurance it comes with the compulsory insurance. I know mine does 

 

You need the original document, so email doesn't help

Gov. compulsory is paid for separately, most brokers ask if you want it, because you may already have it.

You will have paid for it on top of the insurance you purchased, as they must pay the Gov....????

Update, the Gov insurance paper with the silver strip down it turned up today, which will be kept in the car for the ol' Bill...

PS. Remember, we taxed the car on the email print off, so it seems my insurance broker has all the dots lined up....????

My insurance company does the running around for me for a charge of 100 Baht on top of the insurance premium, road worthiness test and tax. All done and dusted in a couple of days.

They come and collect your car to have it tested.....?

No. I have to drive to the test center about 1 km with a bit of paper from the insurance office. Free at point of delivery.

Papers arrived from my finance company for the weekend car today asking for proof of Por ror Bor.

Flicked it thru on email.

had confirmation of road tax paid within 1 hr.

no drive any where...or even leave my office chair.

 

Not sure why many struggle with such simple tasks.

Difference between finance and not... you have to get off your arse and go sort it.

 

Process is still that easy that even the most basic of human being can do.

I have 4 cars (the daily drivers are new and financed)  and 6 motorbikes that are not financed.

Insurance both private and compulsory as well as road tax is very basic to do.

Do you struggle with the sorting such basic a task with you Suzuki Celery Mr Transman ?

I've got 10 cars and 17 bikes, so there, none are on credit though...............????

Additional private car insurance is not required to renew your annual road registration, the compulsory government insurance is issued and paid for at the same time as the new 1 year windscreen sticker.
