My wife's friend is from Isaan. She is in her early 30's and owns a pig farm (not in Isaan) worth close to 1 billion baht. She is also running a container business. My wife is a pure bred Chinese and has quite a few Isaan friends. Some of her Isaan friends that you belittle studied MBA with her and own a business or two.

 

Perhaps you married a low class insecure Thai woman.
