Popular Post Bkk Brian
ooops new poll from Emerson College which has an A rating from fivethirtyeight for its accuracy. "A new Emerson College Polling survey of U.S. voters following the August Republican Primary debate finds half of Republican Primary voters (50%) plan to vote for Donald Trump, the lowest support to date for the former President in Emerson national polls. Trump’s support has dropped by six percentage points since last week’s pre-debate national poll." https://emersoncollegepolling.com/august-2023-national-poll-trump-debate-snub-may-open-door-for-other-candidates/ Trump was highest in April with 62%. Skeptic7
The 91 high crimes and felony charges...aka serious violations of the LAW...does not take a backseat to the side job...aka sideshow/freakshow. The PEOPLE of the USA, against whom these crimes have been committed, also have rights. Two of those is the right to a speedy trial and a little something called justice, about which this "person" knows nothing, but is about to become very familiar. 1

Popular Post LaosLover
Trump says he has proof of his innocence, voter fraud, and that they're out to get him. Lying to the public about his son, lying to the public about russian dossiers. Failure to indict ANY democrats that said the election was stolen by trump, Is Trump perfect - no, far from it, but he is no worse than Biden who is now openly trying to use the DOJ and FBI to stop his biggest rival. How do we know this is the case ? Because NONE of the cases would fall after the election. Not one case have they looked at it politically and seen the election is coming and the prosecution could wait until after - if they did not fear him getting back in, why the hurry ? He would still be there after the next election. All bull <deleted>. Popular Post JonnyF
As a neutral (I dislike both Trump and Biden), it does appear that the sheer number and the timing of charges against Trump are aimed at derailing his political ambitions and allow Biden to win again at the next election. Weaponizing the justice system against political enemies used to be a practice reserved for the likes of Thailand and Myanmar. The US under Biden appears to be in a race to join these types of countries. A race to the bottom. Sad times. 1

He had a sweet gig pitching easy A's to various Gwen's and Toby's, until an influx of Chinese students killed his deal by calling him out as an improperly doctrinaire. What smoothed things over? A's for all! To posit Marxists as a threat in this world is like being afraid of men from Mars.

Could we have an even handed real journalistic cover on the dramas facing the USA? The president, himself, is heading towards impeachment and the silence is deafening There is no more possibility of being "even-handed" about trump than there would be a debate on whether the sun rises in the East or West. Also, a kid who robs a 7-11 cannot subsequently declare he's running for POTUS and expect courts to adjust their schedule to suit him. trump should not have stolen classified documents (open and shut case). He should have behaved in a way that got him indicted for trying to overthrow US democracy. He shouldn't have told his bagman to pay off Stormy. His problems are 100% of his own making. 100%. 2

Is there anything or anybody on the planet that trump doesn't blame for all his problems and whine about? Newsflash: If trump would have immediately returned the classified docs like biden and pence did rather than lie about it and try to hide docs time and again for 18 months after being asked politely to return them there would never have been a document case. If trump had accepted the election results that were verified over and over via recounts and reviews almost all done by republicans and proved valid he could have gone to mar a largo and there would never have been an attempted coup or a riot at the capitol. If trump had not tried to coerce and meddle in Georgias election after being assured over and over by republican officials there was no fraud he could be playing golf without a worry in the world. The bottom line is that almost all of trumps current legal problems were brought about by trumps own poor choices....but rather than accept it like a man he whines like a 4 year old that didn't get the ice cream he wanted.
