Do you know a MAMA-SAN?

Have you ever been to a French/Italian brothel?

If so, I want to know where to obtain curtains fit for an Italian bordello, and available in Thailand.

Most of the curtains & drapes you might see in poor Asian countries are chintzy. And Japan is often the exception to the rule.

I don't like chintzy chintz.

There is really no good posting this query in the DIY Forum; Probably most of those woodworkers have never even heard of a Sporting House.

What was it, last time you were in one of those cathouses, that you liked most about the curtains?...

They were soundproof, right?

Soft.

Luxurious.

Rich.

Flowing.

Dr. Zhivago!

Brothers K.!

RUSSIAN & ARISTOCRATIC Looking!!!

So many other adjectives.

I like RICH and RUSSIAN.

Have you ever been to the RUSSIAN TEA ROOM in NYC?

Looking around at the furnishings in Thai homes, and looking at their thin flimsy curtains, you might even think that nobody here had ever been to a high-class bawdy house.

Really bugs me that I can’t seem to feel at home in this kind of environment.

I like my curtains RICH, FULL and FLOWING!

What about high-class hotels, places which are sometimes the same thing as a bawdy house?

Any guys here own one?

WHERE DO YOU Buy your curtains, anyway?

I’m talking curtains so thick you could bury your snout in the folds of them.

I’m NOT talking about some cheap DIVE here; I’m talking ITALY and FRANCE!

I’m talking….the bosom of Julie Christie in Dr. Zhivago!

So please help me.

Where can I find what I am looking for in Chiang Mai.

Need to buy....

Soon.

Thank you, and,

As Usual,

Gamma

Please Note:  I REALLY Like the décor of the Russian Aristocrats, and most old Russian rooms, in general...

- I liked that they were plastic, so when the soap got all over them, they could just be hosed down.

I'm calling you out.

You portray yourself as an aristocrat, but I'm willing to wager that you used to hang out at Dunkin' Donuts A LOT back home.

I think you're a REAL Bostonian.

This beer promotion can not be viewed with a Thai IP.

No loss.

I would never dunk my donut in any American-Franchise Clip Joint as Americans do everyday, these days.

I left America over 40 years ago.

Even Hong Kong was better, and in a MILLION WAYS.

Take a look at THESE curtains, for example:

I have always seen curtains as a metaphor for the bosom, and the bosom, too, especially Julie's, as a metaphor for my "curtain dreams".

...and, my dreams of living in the Dream of the Red Chamber...

Meet me at The Russian Tea Room, and we'll share a meal together.

Sorry though, that the original venue has moved.

Not sure if this places is as good as it was.

No worries, though.

If it turns out to be sub-par, I know another place.
