This is the place.

Does a weekday (or night) work better or Sat/Sun?

Should I bring my white wife or is it stag?

Whether or not you bring your wife, no matter who she may be, I am not surprised that you passed up the opportunity to select a much more refined and relaxed environment, except, I realize that the quality of these two restaurants has deteriorated during the past few years, due to a change in management and also due to a change in clientele, which is reflected in the much lower pricing than was offered about a decade ago. A decade ago, the quality of one of the restaurants was much, much higher. So sad, really.  Maybe, next time, if there is a next time, a better place can be found...

10 years ago, the restaurant pictured in the bottom image was actually worth a visit.

What happened to it? IDK.

If only we could go back in time, then we could meet-up here.

But since time flows in only one direction, from a Classical Perspective, then maybe next time the meet-up could be held in a more upscale establishment....

Something like this:

But with better food, perhaps, because I eat only Thai food in Thailand, and it's always best to go where the Thai food is best...

I never eat in bars, by the way.

And, like the Chinese, I prefer to actually be able to see what I am eating.

So, anyway, maybe next time.

Tks!

Yes.

Ideally, this meetup should be relocated to the CMU Faculty of Social Sciences' cafeteria.

There's also an excellent coffee shop there which serves ice Latte for Bt.40, and it's the best on campus.

Let's keep as far away from CMU as possible. All that ogling by us old men.

I'm set on Loy Kroh - it's that or I'm not coming

'Have met a couple of people from here, would love to have a meetup. Where? What day? Etc.?

Sorry can’t because my permission to stay doesn’t allow me to work here, besides I don’t think anyone here can or wants to afford my time. Thanks for the offer though!????

That's like saying, "I'm set on Okinawa".

I just had a look at the UTUBE videos of Loi Kroh Road.

The women there remind me so much of the women on Okinawa.

Even the way they move is almost identical.

Much the same VIBE, too.

Seediness is universal almost - perhaps the one thing that unites humanity, together with climate change perhaps.

Maybe it'll bring harmony to the world?

Climate change will cause great disruption to society, not unity.

Massive population migration across borders, disruption to the food supply, is unlikely to lead to increased harmony on Earth, is my guess.

Be that as it may, I am now concerned about other issues, such as Global Warming and the resultant sudden evaporation and disappearance, due to rising temperatures, of even the words I write.

I got a couple of nibbles from lurkers.

But without Gamma, Sticky, and BritToo, it's like KISS without Ace or Peter in the band -a pale imitation, a tribute act at best.

I'm sure if you do everything exactly the way he wants it, you can at least net GG.

If you were only after specific individuals you should probably have used DM to make sure they were up for it before creating an "open invitation" then telling anybody who responds that they apparently aren't worthy of your time.

This is some truly infinitesimally small potato's complaining -and hilariously moot.

The great, the obscure, have come together with a resounding "not 'affin' it".

I aint worthy of their time either. I get, I get it. Am I mad? No. That's just you.

A single person above said he might show up, but only if it was at Blue Grass on Loy Koh Road. It seemed a little Johnny No-Mates to PM him, so I just gave up.

Someone else said maybe in Nimman, then other people said never in Nimman. Vehement anti-Nimman sentiment here. Prob jealousy. Whatev.

We had the first impromptu hall party last night on my floor, with 2 representatives from other floors.
