A fatal shooting occurred in Nakhon Pathom province, where one man lost his life while another sustained injuries. The incident took place in a spacious yard fronting a house located in Ta Kong Subdistrict, Mueang District.

 

The shooting resulted in the death of Sub-Lieutenant Sivakorn Sai Bua, a staff sergeant from the 1st Special Warfare Command, 2nd Infantry Regiment, and left Lieutenant Wasin Pannapee, deputy commander of the 2nd Infantry Regiment, injured.

 

Around 10pm yesterday, local police from Mueang Nakhon Pathom Police Station were alerted to a shooting incident. On-site investigations revealed the location to be a large yard in front of a house within the Ta Kong Subdistrict.

I would suggest that the author of this article does a search on the internet on the rak difference between an officer and an NCO.

An officer with dual ranks of Sub-Lieutenant and Staff Sergeant died.

An officer with the lowly rank of Lieutentant is the Commander of an entire Regiment.

Kamnan Nok Detained in Highway Police Killing Case

 

 

BANGKOK, Sept 8 (TNA) – The detained sub-district chief has been questioning for his alleged involvement in the killing of a highway police officer at his house in Nakhon Pathom while 30 witnesses will be summoned to give accounts.

 

The sub-district chief Mr. Praween Chanklai, also known as “Kamnan Nok” who is a suspect in the case of instigating others to commit intentional homicide and attempted homicide, underwent further questioning at the Crime Suppression Division.

 

The killing of Pol. Maj. Sivakorn Saibua occurred at Kamnan Nok’s house on Sept 6 after their argument over the request for the promotion of a police officer under the supervision of Pol.Maj. Sivakorn.
