Very difficult to predict really, it depends upon the weather (obviously) but also upon how the authorities decide to manage the levels in the dams.

 

This time last year Pak Kret was just below the red sign on the level indicator and we had water in the house. We don't want that again this year!!

They do something similar each year, either portable or more permanent, it certainly keeps more water in the channel but just how much effect it really has downstream is debatable.
