Do You Talk on the Phone anymore?
If you are writing about the cell phone, to be technically correct, a cellular phone is not really a "telephone". It is radio communications piece of hardware and I guess with the abilities to function as a computer. When used to make a telephone call, the device communicates with a base station (cellular tower) which interconnects you call into the local telephone system. As much as I don't like it sometimes, it really is a neat device. -
