Bangkok police arrest two more suspects in brutal Don Mueang attack

Don Mueang police have apprehended two more suspects in a brutal attack that left Jakrawut, a 36 year old man, fatally stabbed in a Bangkok soi.

 

The incident involved a group of approximately 10 men attacking Jakrawut before he was fatally stabbed in Soi Therd Ratchan 1, Si Kan, Don Mueang district, Bangkok. To date, seven out of the total 13 suspects have been arrested.

 

The recent arrests took place at 6pm yesterday, when Police Lieutenant Colonel Adirek Thongkaemkaew, Superintendent of Don Mueang Police Station, Deputy Superintendent Police Lieutenant Colonel Phalawat Pumsawat, Police Captain Wuttichai Boonyou, Police Captain Pakin Dokmai, and Deputy Crime Suppression Division Chief Police Major Somchok Kongtumni led an investigative team to carry out arrest warrants number 3951-3952 /2566, dated yesterday, reported KhaoSod.

 

The individuals apprehended were Somrak, the alleged stabber, and Kiu, both apprehended at the end of Soi Therd Ratchan 23, Si Kan, Don Mueang district, Bangkok. A nail file, used as a weapon during the attack, was seized as evidence.
