georgegeorgia Posted November 11, 2023 Share Posted November 11, 2023 (edited) This is mostly aimed at older guys but I was talking to a work colleague the other day whose father had just died of cancer He said he was sad but not overly devastated as when his mum died ,in fact hd was still going to work on the same day his dad died . When his mum died he had 3 months off work , Where is your mum & Dad now ? IMO not every thought need to be serious, or important, in fact what might be very important to some, might not be as important to others. So lts be a bit more tolerant. Now that the are gone I miss both of them dearly, and equally!! Gottfrid Posted November 12, 2023 Share Posted November 12, 2023 I would say, a was rather close to both. My father died before I had moved to Thailand, so I guess that hit a little bit harder. My mother became old and weak, after I moved to Thailand and died quite recently in the aftermath of having caught Covid. Anyway, she became over 90 years old, so lived a long life.
