A woman tragically lost her life when her motorcycle was run over by a six-wheel truck along a public road. The driver of the truck, 41 year old Komson, claims he was oblivious to the collision until alerted by bystanders. The unfortunate motorcycle accident occurred around 10.30am today.

The deceased, who will remain anonymous, was found lifeless atop her Honda Wave motorcycle, registered under the number 5Kath1034 in Bangkok. There was evidence of scrape marks on the road and a fallen helmet nearby. The truck involved in the fatal motorcycle accident, a Hino with registration number 70-5357 Pathum Thani, was parked at a petrol station with Komson waiting for the police.

Upon interrogation, Komson revealed that he was exiting from Thep Kunchara 36 Street and was about to enter a petrol station. He switched on his turn signal but was unaware of colliding with the motorcycle until passersby screamed out that he had run over the motorcycle. Following this, he stopped the vehicle and came out to assess the situation.

I got a similar accident some years ago. When I gave the signal to turn right to a Petrol Station, a motorbike was overtaking on my right side. When I was turning, he crashed into my car.

Karma.

Ops! When you started like you did, I was having the feeling that you had also been crushed. I am relieved to hear that was not the case.

Being a biker myself (Even at 68) near paranoid on checking my mirror in the wife's car when turning left into a garage, side street or just parking.

Indicator flashing away well before the turn, try to be as far left as possible, but, have had old grannies and pimply youths still coming up alongside whom I let pass before turning.

A simple safety awareness program could be done at schools with posters extolling the virtue of "Being Smart" not stupid.
