Popular Post Mr Dome Posted November 25, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 25, 2023 People in a confined space can really "infect" each other with fear, regardless if the situation warrants it or not. Aircraft can fly perfectly fine with only one engine and they were so close to an airport. Me, being a long time fan of airplane crash investigations, I would have felt for those giving into their fear but enjoyed the action myself. 3

I wonder what the actual engine in this actual aircraft in this article looked like. 1 1 1

swm59nj Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 It was a scary experience no doubt. But how many passengers were on that flight? A handful? Because half of the passengers vomiting and fainting is a bit much. It was an engine failure. The plane didn’t suddenly drop altitude. Or the cabin didn’t decompress. The pilot shut down the engine. Then turned the plane back to the airport. Doesn’t say the type of aircraft. But an airliner can fly on one engine if necessary. If half of the passengers became ill or fainted. I would think it would be mentioned how medical personnel met the plane to treat all those passengers.
JensenZ Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 I clicked on this story to find out if the aircraft crashed. I expected that an engine explosion as written in the title might destroy the wing and cause a crash, however, it was only an engine failure with some sparks flying.

Derek B Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 The airline should sue the media posting misinformation such as photos of a different incident relating to a 4 engined aircraft not belonging to the airline in question. 1 1

Well, whilst there may be some question regarding the photo used, that engine would appear to have suffered slightly more than a few 'sparks flying'.
couchpotato Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 What I want know is what would have happened if the 'Thai singer' wasn't on board..would it have been a disaster, but it seems the singer saved the day with some divine karma. 1
