How Do You Apply For A Thai Visa?

Hello,

I live in the UK and I am going to Thailand on the 10th of October 2004. I am then going to Australia on the 11th of December, so I will be in Thailand for 2 months - I cannot wait!!

BUT, how do I apply for a Thai visa - I have heard conflicting stories...

possom, I nearly wanted to give the same reply, but then perhaps not fair.

Chris_2178, a tourist visa, SINGLE entry will do for you. It will allow you to stay for 60 days (not two months).

For a single entry visa the Thai Embassy in London will be fine. Any Thai mission in the UK can handle that.

You will require an extension of your stay at the cost of 1,900 baht here in Thailand with that departure date as it will be beyond the 60 days allowed on a tourist visa. Not a problem and easy to do if you are not in the jungle at the time. Think I would cut three or four days myself.
