I get the impression a few members visit this site and another well-known Thailand based one. I wonder how many members wear their halos on TV when certain topics are posted, only to put on the horns when the same/similar topic is posted on a the other forum.

"Close this mod, its disgusting." "SHould be ashamed of yourself!" "NOT ALL men come to LOS for that you know!!!"

"555!, post more more MORE!", "Yeh man...you gave it to the b*?ch GOOD!", "Too right, but i tell the missus NO WAY".

:o

Are you talking about me?

I am another who reads the closed topics first with the hope that not too many juicy posts have yet dissappeared and to take note of why and who did the closing.

Sometimes those posts are the most interesting! Unfortunately this one doesn't qualify. Mods, the OP made a request to close.

You should keep an eye on the Chiang Rai forum, old one. I reckon we must hold the record for topics closed/number of total posts. A good one was shot down today that was started by some trouble maker wanting to know where to buy English magazines in the 'Rai.

I used to read that forum Sceaddydung, but it seemed the locals spent all their time brawling about which was the best restaurant in town! There were a few blood feuds, but it still failed to hold my interest.

Nothing like a good punch up over where to get the best pizza. It gets nasty in the Chiang Mai forum as well, they've got more restaurants to argue over than we have.

I just read that thread, how on Earth could that degenerate into a flame war! Amazing!!

From Book shop to killing communists in Bali, incredible!!

As for the deleted posts, what in the name of, 'Jumping Jehoshaphat', was said.

Customer " Give me a newspaper, please, any newspaper will do".

Proprietor " Sod off you Communist". Bang Bang Rat a tat tat.

Keep out of the Rai, for heavens sake.

Good Luck, you will need it.

Moss :o
