Mueang Krabi –A staffer from the Hat Noppharat Thara Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park has sustained injuries from a gunshot wound after fighting with another staffer at the park.

The head of the national park, Mr. Yutthapong Damsrisuk, told the Phuket Express that the two staffers were previously friends but they were always arguing and fighting. This time, on January 2nd, 2024, one of them opened fire at the other at their residence at the national park station over an undisclosed argument.

They had worked at the national park for more than one year and were staffers for the Maya Bay tourism service. The two staffers have been immediately fired from their position in the national park.
