Tragedy struck on the rain-soaked roads of Trat province, unveiling a heart-wrenching narrative of a fatal collision between a rescue vehicle and a woman’s car, highlighting the perilous challenges faced by volunteers in their quest to save lives.

A severe road accident occurred in Trat province, resulting in the fatality of a 36 year old woman, Wanpen Insaeng, and leaving three volunteer rescuers critically injured. The incident happened on Sukhumvit Road, near the Trat Municipality office. The rescue vehicle, en route to another accident scene, lost control due to heavy rain and slippery conditions, colliding with Wanpen’s car.

The collision severely damaged both vehicles. Wanpen’s car, a Suzuki Ciaz with the registration number กค 9522 Trat, was found with significant front-end damage. The rescue vehicle, an Isuzu, was found in a roadside ditch with extensive damage.

No, lost control due to unsafe driving for those conditions.

Accidents that happens out of the reason stupid, unwilling to learn and understand, people create just because they can´t drive. Not lost control because of wet and slippery road condition. Lost control because of bad driving skills and driving too quick without caring of the road conditions.

It was the poor woman who faced a "perilous challenge" that cost her her life.
