And what are the documents required by the foreign buyer?

Another issue when selling that I just found out today. You need a copy of the passport you had when you bought the motorbike.

I just bought a new motorbike and was giving away my old one to a friend. I had used it for 13 years and it had issues.

We went to an Inspection Station on Pattaya Tai opposite the large 7/11. I had my COR and passport copies. My friend had my old bike, the green book, and her ID. Things were going well until I was asked for a copy of the passport I had when I bought the bike. The old passport number was in the green book and they needed a copy of that passport in addition to my current one.

I knew I had copies of all my old passports on my computer and she asked if I could send it to her via Line by COB. She then had me sign a blank piece of paper and said she would print the copy I sent on the paper with my signature. An hour later the copy was sent.

All was good, but if I didn't have the old passport copy it would have been a "Sorry, no can do"
