Popular Post snoop1130
A Thai woman took to social media to look for a foreign couple who saved her mother from drowning in the Chao Phraya River in the central province of Ayutthaya. The woman, Kornwipha Thongnoom, is searching for a foreign man and woman who helped her mother on February 8 wishing to extend her gratitude to the couple. Kornwipha shared the story on Facebook in both Thai and English hoping the foreign couple or anyone who knows them will come across her post. Recalling the event, Kornwipha explained that her 70 year old mother went to a hospital for some follow-up treatment and waited for the boat at Chao Phrom Market Pier to return home. When her mother was boarding from a pier, she fell into the Chao Phraya River, which is very deep. Kornwipha’s mother was sinking into the river very quickly. Fortunately, a foreign man courageously jumped into the river, rescuing Kornwipha’s mother and bringing her safely to the pier. The foreign man and his girlfriend then provided care and comfort to her mother, who was in shock and frightened after the incident. Popular Post brianthainess
I saved 1 young 8yr old girl and the 5 stupid Thai men, that thought they could save her from a rip, Oh yeh and before FB and cameras on phones, and Social Media. But I did get a round of applause as I carried the child, limp in my arms to safety. Next day the child ran up to me on the beach and wai me and we hugged. That was the best reward I could have wanted. But well done to this guy. Edited February 15 by brianthainess 6 1 1 2
Popular Post rwill
About 8 years ago I rescued a young girl that was drowning in a local reservoir. By the time I got to her she had gone completely under. A guy had taken a group of kids to play there and she wandered away from the group. No one but me and my wife saw her, our dogs were swimming near her. If we had not seen her she would have been dead. After we got her back out he came over never said a word to the wife and I. Just started yelling at the girl. (probably telling her how much trouble he would have been in if she died) 1 2

You must be so bored Expats, grumpy grandpas who know everything!! Not necessary at all. Same as it was not necessary for you to get hung on it and post a reply. It´s probably just that some of us knows what knee jerk reactions are made in different situations here. The guy definitely did a good thing. Not many person would dare to jump into that river with all the hidden streams that can take you down. Regarding if I am bored or a grumpy grandpa. At the age of 53 (soon 54) years of age, I have yet not got to the stage of grandpa. With that taken out of the equation, we will only have the bored factor left. I will ask you like this. If your life was full of all the points shown below, would you be bored? A perfect loving wife, that actually understands real life and can engage in an interesting and fruitful discussion as well as solve problems on her own. 2 daughters that do their best to excel in school as well as in real life. A house in the country side, with modern furniture and a pool. 1 condo in Bangkok and 1 in Pattaya. A monthly salary between 280k - 480k baht. Free working hours as long as I meet the goals always working from home. (I always meet the goals ) I lot of free time and always the possibility for a holiday, with only a laptop with me. As you surely understand know, Pesche, neither am I. 1 hour ago, josephbloggs said: Sad lives, sad outlooks. Wrong! So I double down on my sad life, sad outlook comment. Anyone that feels the need to boast on an anonymous forum is a loser in my opinion. I prefer to keep my private life and any successes private.

One to their own. It was not boasting, even if you got a bit jealous. It was only an explanation for you 2 to understand that my life is not sad, and that I am very happy with it. Now you know. Just move on. Forget it if you can.
