Not a red herring ! If staying in Thailand 180 or more days in a tax year and remitting funds that are taxed at source exempts the need for tax residency declaration. It is only extraneous income that will be of interest to both ends of a DTR . Immigration systems may be poorly integrated but integrated financial systems are constantly being upgraded. Homicides attract less penalty than tax evasion ! -

Every Thai woman I have talked to claims to have children without any support from the father. Admittedly they are not a random sample, and perhaps they are lying. Perhaps their well paid husbands send them out to make a bit extra from farangs. But there does seem to be a problem, which is not mentioned in the above report. -

Oh ok, got ya. Of course i care about feelings of biological women,every one should. Like i said before, you close the door behind you and you are in private. Not your words but some people are talking about the rights of women to privacy and safety. Great i am al for it but i raise a few questions when the rights of the same women is taking away concerning other issues. In different countries i have seen toilets for men and women being separated but in front,easy access,there is a toilet for disabled and pregnant women(no not pregnant people). Should there be two of those?One for each sex? Again in my opinion this whole issue is about people being against transgender people and you can take off from there. By the way,i do not condone trans athletes to compete in womens sports,that is unfair on so many levels. -

I do find it quite bizarre (actually it is Mike Johnson so it is, perhaps, by his standards, not bizarre) that he is so self righteously energetic in moving rapidly to stamp his authority in this relatively inconsequential matter, yet so unwilling and mealy mouthed in his excuses for opposing the release of the congressional report into Mike Gaetz. Stupidly so, since the bulk of the evidence is public knowledge, and his intransigence will inevitably result in it being leaked, making him look silly!- 1

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing their alleged involvement in crimes against humanity and war crimes committed between October 8, 2023, and May 20, 2024. The warrants, issued by ICC Pre-Trial Chamber I, mark a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the situation in the State of Palestine. While the warrants are classified as "secret" to protect witnesses and maintain the integrity of the investigation, the ICC has released some details publicly due to the ongoing nature of the alleged conduct and the importance of informing victims and their families. The ICC Chamber determined that the alleged actions of Netanyahu and Gallant fall within the Court's jurisdiction, reaffirming an earlier decision that the ICC’s authority extends to Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. The Chamber chose not to exercise its discretionary powers to assess the admissibility of the cases at this time, leaving open the possibility of further jurisdictional challenges at a later stage. Appeal Launched for British Teacher Gravely Injured in Thailand Crash
His work and visa status is irrelevant - its reported that has insurance - but it appears capped and can't cover all the costs. How does he get to the UK ???... he can't travel without a medivac - and first he needs to get to Bangkok for emergency treatment (which I hope / assume - he is already receiving). What exactly doesn't add up ? A young guy with a capped insurance loses a leg when riding pillion on the back of a motorcycle - what doesn't add up there ???? He may or may not have had a work permit for his business - but I don't see how that is relevant to the story at all.- 1
