Trump made his money through fraud. It's common in the real estate industry. Talk about a swamp.

P.s. Trump inherited his money. His father tried to bail him out with the casino, but got caught.

Self made billionaire? Right. He's a conman.

Trump inherited a small portion and from that became a self made billionaire.  He invested it correctly and is reaping the benefits.

Capitalism!  Isn’t it great!

Sounds like you’re jealous.

Between the ages of 3 and 58, president Donald Trump inherited at least $413 million from his father’s business empire using some potentially fraudulent tax-dodging methods, a blockbuster New York Times investigation shows.

The last tranche came in 2004—years after his father, Fred, died—when Trump and his siblings sold off their father’s empire. The deal seems to have been done in a rush, and they offloaded the building for hundreds of millions less than it was worth, the Times reports. Nonetheless, Donald picked up $177.3 million, or $236.2 million at today’s rates, the Times reports.

And keep in mind that in current dollars that would amount to a lot more. Once Trump's father was out of the scene, Trump repeatedly got out-negotiated and paid way too much for businesses and asset he acquired. With the result that...

TRUMP WENT BROKE, BUT STAYED ON TOP

Basically, Trump exploited the dismal state of bankruptcy law to retain much of his fortune.

A small portion is 400 million? :cheesy:

But yes, he has been able to grow that, though at a much lower rate than if he would have just put it in a fund. Not such a great businessman.

Doubt it, in yours it seems too...................:coffee1:

On the plus side of all this, it's great to see an American administration doffing their cap and taking the knee to a British Prince.

All these years after the war of independence and British royalty can still rock in, break all the rules and do exactly what they want in the US.

Like a broken clock, wait long enough and Biden's administration will be correct twice.

1.   Spending US taxpayers money to support Israel's military again Palestine.

2.  Allowing a self confessed drug addled British Prince to walk all over their immigration rules on the basis of his Royal status.

Credit where it's due. Harry and Joe have confirmed what we all knew. The British do what they want. Stay where you are Harry, you are finally demonstrating the power of British Royalty.

So, Trump is taken to task for not wanting to provide a security detail to a rich Prince Harry, but not a peep about Biden refusing a security detail for RFK Jr. Hmmmmm..

Who or what is "RFK Jr. Hmmmmm.."?

One of Bidens political opponents. His uncle (JFK) was the 35th US President, and his father (RFK Sr.) was his Secretary of State, and later ran for President in the '68 election. Both were assassinated. His uncle in '63 and his father in '68.

I did NOT edit your post!

I just quoted the portion that made no sense to me and possibly the same lack of sense to most non Americans!

You seem to be using a sequence of letters JFK/RFK that are not clearly obvious or meaningful to non Americans!
