never thought I'd be able to say this but this guy is worse than Prayut

Isn't it ironic that the bottom of the barrel you are already scraping always seems to have a false floor where you can scrape much deeper when it comes to Thailand.

Thai PM Srettha vows crackdown on cannabis trade, labelling it as a massive threat to the kingdom. Calls for the return of jail time.

But you allowed the instigator, Anutin into your coalition....

There must have been people like this during 20s America. Equating sobriety with conservative middle-class values. Prohibition as the answer to all that Cheech and Chong nonsense, not to mention Freewheelin' Franklin. Marijuana as the root cause of all society's ills. Do you reckon opinions like this are genetic? Has he ever tried a puff? History repeats. (The photo below has obviously not finished its fermentation!)

love it.

Jail and deport.

Not so long after his sit down meeting with Thaksin!

Coincidence?

But it is being globally over pushed on social media by foreigners espousing huge brocolli and other product sales and I think this attention was not anticipated and is not welcomed.

Hopefully a less dramatic solution than Thaksin or Duerte ones in history.

PM's true colours now revealed by a covert interview conducted abroad, including a comment that he intends to eliminate any sense of a  'free wheeling liberal atmosphere' in Thailand. What a miserable prospect.

Seems like there's a lot of things that cause violence and vehicular deaths like alcohol, Yaba, etc., but they can't be controlled.

The real danger to the country is the air pollution every spring that is getting worse and worse each year, but let's not talk about that - we don't want to upset the agri-business.

He and his ilk are the biggest threat to Thailand, not some harmless plant. A total idiot and a bogus pm at that, put in place by cheating.

He isn't in charge, his puppet master and the chinese ambassador tell him what to think. He is there to grin and wave.

Too many rich, influential, and dangerous [Thai] people involved in the cannabis trade to ever stop it now.

Going against these people is like signing your own death warrant. The proverbial genie's already out of the bottle.

Excellent news

Have a lead in time of 3 months (to play nicely) and then hard cut off point

Then any foreigners stinking the place out immediate lifetime persona non grata in passport and deportation

No messing.....

makes some profit which is injected back into society.

You can add VAT going to the State for all the purchases resulting from sale of cannabis as well as additional income tax to the State on business profits.
