What is the general consensus on Burmese people living in Thailand?

Featured Replies

From what i have seen most seem very hard working, mind their own business (no gossip), non confrontational, trustworthy, democracy loving, easy going and kind hearted people.

I have dealt with them many times and this has always been my experience. To be honest i dont have a bad word to say about the burmese at all!

How do the thais feel about them?

Bob

Burmese people are here to make money through hard work and most of them seems very humble.

Thais are in the wave of easy credit, marketing and compulsive consumerism and live inside Channel 3.

Dunno, I am not Thai, plus, I don't really know what Thai people think about me.........🤔

Where I live noone's even seen or heard a Burmese except in movies where the Thais riding elephants beat the daylights out of Burmese (or alternatively Cambodian) infantry.
