Immigration To Pioneer Computer Link-up Program With Local Police Divisions

On Tuesday Morning we made our way down to the Immigration Office located in Soi 5 off Jomtien Beach Road where Police Colonel Itipon, the Superintendent of the Office announced a new pioneering scheme which will link four Police Stations here in Pattaya to ensure that blacklisted Foreigners and Foreigners who need to be contacted by Police for any reason can be easily located.

Utilizing a budget of 850,000 Baht from the Immigration Office a computer link between the Immigration Office, Pattaya Police Station, Banglamung Police Station and the Tourist Police Station will soon be installed and it is hoped that the four Police Divisions will be able to work together to track down foreigners residing here in Pattaya City. The Colonel is now searching for a private company to assist with this plan and he is now accepting tenders from any IT company or individual who can assist in installation of this new system.
