Many people (like me) are quite happy that Trump wasn't banned from running, as Nikki would very likely win against Biden.

And you're happy he is being effectively disallowed from campaigning, but because it helps the left, it is not considered election interference.

The only thing this tells us is that Trump is actually awake most of the time - nothing like that can be said of Sleepy Joe.

My guess is that between his 3 minutes of porking a porn star, that fat guy is probably sleeping.

Alina Habba has unlikely excuse for Trump falling asleep in court

If he was alert and paying close attention, the sketches and reporting would be that he is stressed out and terrified.

That he is dozing off might just mean he is tired board. It's not like everything else in his life can stop for the hour the court is stealing from him.

He is in court because of stealing and cheating!

Do you believe all of the charges against him are false?

Since you're asking me, just list the charges and I will identify which I think are false.

To be clear, I believe the misdemeanor charge of misreporting the reimbursement payment to Cohen as legal fees rather that NDA payment is credible.

OK.

Which conditions does Defendant Trump meet such that his presence in court during his criminal trial is option.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/frcrmp/rule_43

Do you ever read the stuff you link to? When they are given a waiver. From your link:

Waiver’s Effect. If the defendant waives the right to be present, the trial may proceed to completion, including the verdict’s return and sentencing, during the defendant’s absence.

"On motion of a defendant represented by counsel, the court may, in the absence of an objection by the people, issue an order dispensing with the requirement that the defendant be personally present at trial. Such an order may be made only upon the filing of a written and subscribed statement by the defendant declaring that he waives his right to be personally present at the trial and authorizing his attorney to conduct his defense."

So the people object.

Exactly. The only reason Trump has to be present, Alvin Bragg (the people) objects to him not being present. We agree.

It's nice the judge has disallowed orthodox Jews, from the jury....

So you are saying he should be in court? Then why all the whining about trump?

Will you accept the outcome?

Alvin Bragg is not ‘a the Court’ you yourself in this post state ‘Alvin Bragg (the people)’.

So unquestionably Alvin Bragg is ‘not the court’.

So let’s go back and look at your original claim, here it is:

What a mess you are making of yourself!

Your right, it's not the court, the court is just a building.

The only reason Trump has to be present is because Alvin Bragg (representing the people) objects to him not being present. Better"

What I said was, that I believe the misdemeanor charge of misreporting the reimbursement payment to Cohen as legal fees rather that NDA payment is credible.

So no, I don't think he should be in court.

The only possible reason for this trial is for Biden to use it as an excuse to avoid debating Trump.  Hell, I was listening to clips of him from even 3 years ago- the difference is stark. No way Biden can hold up for 90 minutes or 2 hours facing questions and follow-ups.
