 The story I get is my wifes grandpa carved out a mew village from the jungle and got deed to lots of rai in SiSaKet area.  Not sure how long ago Probably 50-60 years ago.      Of course he gave or gambled most of it away.   Was there some sort of Royal decree for this? What type of title would it have been?  Just interested, not that there is any desire to live in that village   there is one property with a view diwn to the river but it is out of the village 1-2 km so it would be a constant worry from thiefs.
