Never use back button on a forum, it's not designed for that. Use the breadcrumbs instead.

Breadcrumbs can only take you back one level.  Back button is much more use and works fine.

The breadcrumbs on this site has several levels.

Yes, and takes you back one level at a time, not one page.  No good if you want to go back to a previous page of this thread for example.  Back button works just fine.

What's that and where is it?  Nothing on my ASUS keyboard says "Home".

Get yourself a UK Logitech keyboard, job done.

Why would I do that?    I just asked a question about the "Home" button that I couldn't find on my keyboard.

Thanks, George, the keyboard is whatever is integral on an Asus UX410U that is fitted at the factory.   It really doesn't matter now, though, as the forum's button in question is going to reappear soon and I now know that there is no "Home" button on my computer...and Space+ Shift does the job also.

In your laptop settings, located around languages are keyboard configuration settings. You'll find keyboard settings, here you can opt for a different (minor) layout eg. US English, UK English etc, try a different option.

Depending on your operating system there should be a few to choose from.

Your keyboard will remain qwerty just your non alphabet keys will change.

Thanks but I don't need to do anything, I was just curious as to where the non-existent "Home" button was.

On my keyboard next to the backspace key. What does "home" do?

Edit: Ah !, it goes to the top of the page. I usually use the mouse to go to the nearest "unread content"

Try this one, it will make your surfing even faster! We are directly hosted on CloudFlare backbone.

https://one.one.one.one

WARP, Yes!

There are two WARPs that come to mind:

a1. WARP from CLOUDFLARE

image.png.1d0b65e0d4da66a64460a4107d247c35.png

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1.1.1.1

a2. WARP VPN from CLOUDFLARE

Will WARP, and Cloudflare products, including VPN, work well for users behind the Bamboo Curtain?

China can close down VPNs at will.

b. WARP (OS/2), the Better Desktop OS from IBM which I loved..

The OS/2 software from IBM was better.

The world chose Microsoft, instead.

Very bad decision.

image.png.cf581ba12c677fc266a67b3eba4c4452.png

Just because some service, or software, or OS, is technically superior does not mean that the Joe Blows of the world will be impressed, and choose the superior product.

Such a shame, really.

OS/2 was amazing for its time.

Would the world now be a better place if the world had stayed with IBM?

Yes.

Of course.

IBM...
IVY style...

Just better....

image.png.bd394eb3814b03510c3f62221b2ebfef.png

No slovenly slobs at IBM, back in the day.

The world was a better place.

And, we knew where we were headed, back then...

c.  Read this. Learn about WARP for single user (desktop) use, and What is it Exactly?

image.png.efe338b3fa75e8b48d7249ba4fd17e4c.png

https://blog.cloudflare.com/warp-for-desktop

d.  Just installed WARP from CloudFlare on this Desktop here...

Now waiting to see what might happen.

Hopefully, it will improve my world, and might even make it faster.

The world, as it is now, is just not moving fast enough for me.

Simple to Install the WARP software.

Free, too.

No worries.

e.  WARP on Apple/Windows, and....Linux?

The Cloudflare blog/website states that WARP (free) is now available for Apple/Windows OS.

However, I noticed a Linux button, as well.

I will install WARP on Linux, next.

If the Linux port/version is available at this time.
