Vespa Restoration

Hi, I recently purchased a 1964 Vespa VBB in Pattaya. Its in need of restoration, I have looked and asked around Pattaya but there dont seem to be any specialiality places where i can get it done. Does anyone know of anywhere. Im probally thinking of taking a look in Bangkok as I hear they are more popular there. But I dont have any information on where to start looking.

Can anyone give me some guidance, know of any good places to get it done.

Also anymore Farrangs out there who have a Vespa would be good to hear from you.

Hi

I bought a Smallframe 50 special from 'ARM SCOOTER' in Bangkok

They did a great basic restoration, i.e. new paintwork, chrome bits, new badge for a v reasonable price.

I am shipping it home in a few months. They speak good English and did a great job.

I don't know if you found a place, but there is one near my house on the local soi. It is not a very big shop, basically a family affair run out of the house, but they do good work (you can see examples of their restored Vespas at their shop). It is not in Pattaya, but in Bangkok near Tang Hua Seng. I am PM'ing you their number, but THEY DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. I do think they would do it on the cheap side.
