Biden's Polling Puzzle Is He In Denial?

Trump doesn't need a campaign. He's on the news every night in his court cases. With 90 to go he's never going to be off the news. The MSM are his campaign.

He has his past record to go on, while Biden has the present border fiasco, inflation, rebellion by Ivy League university students and a couple of wars in which he is neck deep.

Short of Trump doing something really crazy, Biden is in trouble.

Oh please, get out of the lunatic "Trumpers" cult.

Ah yes. The infamous 'survey' that rated Obama above Reagan and Clinton. Ranked Biden above Reagan even.  Great source of information, that.

How so? Trump didn't start it, didn't run it and tried to end it. Sounds like BS to me.

‘Shameful': US virus deaths top 400K as Trump leaves office

As President Donald Trump entered the final year of his term last January, the U.S. recorded its first confirmed case of COVID-19. Not to worry, Trump insisted, his administration had the virus “totally under control.”

Now, in his final hours in office, after a year of presidential denials of reality and responsibility, the pandemic’s U.S. death toll has eclipsed 400,000. And the loss of lives is accelerating.

“This is just one step on an ominous path of fatalities,” said Dr. Irwin Redlener, director of the National Center for Disaster Preparedness at Columbia University and one of many public health experts who contend the Trump administration’s handling of the crisis led to thousands of avoidable deaths.

Thanks for the TDS whataboutism.  I would say a president who avoids war and encourages peace is a statesman.

And what kind of statesman allows 10 million people to enter his country (and spends $66 billion on them) with no consideration for his own citizens?

What kind of statesman allows thousands of his people to die due to a virus? Right...talk about TDS.

You might want to talk to the Gold Star families about that. The ones who SAW Biden checking his watch as their dead children were wheeled past him.

Report: Trump disparaged US war dead as 'losers,' 'suckers'

A new report details multiple instances of President Donald Trump making disparaging remarks about members of the U.S. military who have been captured or killed, including referring to the American war dead at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France in 2018 as “losers” and “suckers.”

Putin invades Moldova and took a chunk of it. Did the same to Georgia. And might have a run at Poland. As mentioned above, his goal is to return Russia to it's former glory.

And what does this have to do with Biden's current poor polling? OR are you playing "b-b-but Trump" yet again...

I don't know why you find it acceptable to accept the current President's bad behavior by saying "the other guy did it too".  I find both abhorrent. Yet Biden is the topic at hand.

Many here seem to think with Trump in power Putin won't attack any other country. Trump's a useful idiot to Putin.

Polling is about all the candidates. Not just one. They impact each other. And yes, both are terrible candidates. But Trump's worse.

Trumpets, always crying and whining about how there victimized.

I know similar Yanks that allow Trump to rule their thinking. Such a deep resentment is unhealthy.

Purely based on history. Putin attacked when 2 Democratic presidents were in office. He didn't attack when Trump was.  The whole Trump/Putin narrative is rather pathetic really. A desperate gamble left over from the 2016 election.

As for the polls, a lot can change in 6 months. But at present, the American people are showing that they prefer the Trump years to the Biden years.

Not really. Rather, it seems the TDS brigade gets worked up so often, they can't help but spew all the usual, tiresome tropes. Liar, conman, rapist.... it gets old after a while. At least get some new material.

Old creepy Joe is not so much in denial as unaware of his surroundings due to his dementia. This is only going to get worse if old Joe is elected again. Allot of degradation can occur in four years. It would be a travesty to have old Joe put to pasture and have dizzy Harris as president.

You keep trotting out all that history as if it made any difference. No one cares about that except posters whining about Trump.

Voters care about what is happening now, and after 3 years of Biden now is a disaster.

Instead of constantly harping on about the past, you should be asking why the Dems are putting up such a completely rubbish candidate that even Trump is doing better against, despite all his faults. Don't the Dems have ANYONE better to put up?

Well I have to agree with you, I think they should have asked Biden to step aside, and make room for younger, more vital candidate, and at the very minimum Biden should have asked Harris to step aside and make room for a qualified VP candidate, that so many people don't despise.

Maybe genocide Joe can muster some good before he croaks, you know like darth Vader did. He might be able to pull it off. Only problem is if he did something really good he’d not even make up for all the bad <deleted> he’s done.

Trump support of Putin is not imaginary and not new, starting with the approval of the invasion of Crimea.

And He's been very useful to Putin recently, by having his sycophants blocking military help to Ukraine for 6 months, thus allowing Russia to get an advantage.

Trump did far worse. Ask the friends and families of the 400,000 Americans who died under Trump’s watch....Biden’s a saint compared to Dozer.

One reason Cohen went to jail is because of his lies about Trump's involvement with Russia. Hopefully Dozer will end up in an orange suit. It will match his makeup!  :cheesy:

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/11/29/michael-cohen-making-surprise-court-appearance-in-new-york-1026107

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former lawyer, made a surprise appearance before a federal judge in New York on Thursday to plead guilty to lying to Congress about work he did on an aborted project to build a Trump Tower in Russia.

Flanked by his lawyers, Cohen admitted making false statements in 2017 to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence about the project.

Cohen told the judge he lied about the timing of the negotiations and other details to be consistent with Trump’s “political message.”

That's a noble sentiment, except for the small detail that more Americans died from Covid under Biden than under Trump. Otherwise, you are making a valid point.
