I reckon why most expats have a weight problem in Thailand is boredom.  You can see it looking through the AN threads, some guys are glued to the screen.    You got to get out, exercise

Good to know, if needing a quick fix, as anything under 25 isn't too bad. Had their Big Breakfast a while back, and basically the same thing + hashbrown.

A few of these I have daily: kefir, rolled oats & blueberries, cashews. Pulses seem interesting, and thought lentil pasta might be a good alternative. But, Lentil pasta, same as Chickpea pasta is silly priced. Guess I'll stick with egg noodles.

My new daily health drink. Might incorporate with my daily kefir fix, but for now, just mix with water. 40gr 100% Cacao & 25gr Honey. May cut back on the honey, as wasn't as bitter as I expected. Yea, Cacao is non alkalized.

Also had my HbA1C checked the other day, @ 5.0, so no real worries about the added sugar. Crap sources linked on AI, but verified by better scientific links, too lazy to search.

Cacao Vs Cocoa

My research came up with Cacao more effective than Cocoa gram for gram, but if Cocoa is much cheaper, just consume 2x as much for the same effect.

oops ... correction that is Cocoa powder. Have cacao on my brain 🙄

Finally found 100% Cocoa, (unDutched), and at decent price (now ฿230) ...

Do miss my 70% chocolate pieces, but too much saturated fat, and pricy, now ฿505 / 500gr.

Oh yea, if going the cocoa/cacao route, don't mix with milk, as binds with milk proteins,(like casein) , and screws up the absorption of the good stuff.

Another excellent vid by this guy ... enough with labeled diets, simply eat healthy, and that simply means, really know what you're eating. And what works for you, as no one diet lifestyle fits all. Nutrient dense is more important.

Intermittent fasting is easy for me, maybe not for you. Exercising is easy for you, it's not for me, neither is wrong, but adjust elsewhere to maximise the benefits that do work for you.

If common sense fails, fall back on 'RTFM' advive, when it comes to shopping for processed food = it has a label, then, 'RTF Label', . First, avoid foods with labels, as much as possible. Not easy for everyone, but, if it does have a label ...

... if it has more the 4 ingredient, tread lightly

... if it has added sugar, listed as carb, or sugar is first or second ingredient

... if you can't pronounce or don't know what the ingredient is

... more numbers than a science equation
