Fishing rules & Regulations Laos ?

Hello .  I am planning a motorbike road trip from Thailand  into and  around  Laos (30 days ish) and want to bring my travel fishing gear  with me . My question is what are the general rules and regulations about fishing  in local rivers, reservoirs etc  as a foreigner on a 30 day tourist visa  ,, there's a  lack of info on the subject online .
