Pattaya Mayor Plants Yellow Star Trees to Celebrate Thailand’s National Tree Day

Pattaya Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches presided over a tree planting ceremony to plant trees and engage in public activities in celebration of the past Thai National Tree Day on May 22nd.


The event, which took place on May 30th, was also part of the “Pattaya Moves Towards a Low Carbon City” project. The ceremony was attended by several members of the Pattaya City Council, citizens, and volunteers.

 

According to the city’s announcement, Pattaya City has been selected by the National Municipal League of Thailand and the European Union as one of 15 learning centers for the “Thai Municipality Moves Towards Low Carbon City” project.

To be felled at a later date and replaced with concrete.

They cut down every tree they can get their hands on for endless years.....Plant a few trees with a photo op and were tree lovers....lol
