The US - Canada match was actually pretty good cricket. And no tornado interruptions.

West Indies vs PNG was also a good match to watch. PNG fought really well.

The wicket in New York isn't good enough for T20 international cricket. So far, batter found it very difficult to score freely at this venue.

Inconsistent bounce and movement. Little to do with the outfield. The pitches are underprepared and freshly laid.

Congratulations to India for winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. Perfect farewell to Virat Kohli who got player of the match award.

The final few overs of he final were epic. That boundary catch was unreal and the last couple of overs from Bumrah prevented SA from reaching what should have been a fairly simple target of a run a ball over the last 5 overs.

 

I was in Ahmedabad in May on business and arrived there on the evening of the IPL final. The traffic was horrendous, more so than usual, and only realised the game was being held there when I eventually reached my hotel from the airport. They do like their cricket......
