Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of a budtender at one of Thailand’s largest cannabis companies, Four Twenty, looks like?

Working as a budtender at Four Twenty Thailand involves more than just selling products. It’s about creating an experience for customers. From assisting with product selection to providing expert advice on various strains and consumption methods, budtenders play a crucial role in helping customers make informed decisions.

Let’s take a closer look at the daily duties and responsibilities of a Four Twenty budtender.

Morning routine: Preparing for the day

For a budtender at Four Twenty Thailand, the day starts early by getting everything ready for customers. The standard operating procedures play a crucial role in the dispensary’s daily routine. This includes checking inventory levels, organizing product displays, and reviewing any new strains or products that have arrived overnight.

Hygiene is a top priority in the dispensary, with elite storage conditions maintained to preserve product quality. The team handles products carefully to ensure they reach consumers in perfect condition. With several hundred products available, from strains to edibles to paraphernalia, this can be a challenging task. However, the professional team makes sure stocks are up to date, in good conditions, and ready for customers to explore.

Four Twenty boasts over 20 top-quality strains grown in their own farms. Each strain is carefully distributed to their dispensaries fresh from the farm to provide an exceptional product for their customers. These strains include popular options like The Runtz, Lucky Charms, Laughing Buddha, White Rozay, and Rozay Cake.

In addition to cannabis products, they also offer a cozy lounging area with comfy sofas making sure it’s all clean and inviting for customers to kick back and relax.

Giving the best customer service

Four Twenty dispensaries across Thailand have different opening hours, but they generally open from 10.00 am. As the clock strikes opening time, the budtenders are all smiles and ready to help. With their friendly approach, they listen to customers’ needs and answer any questions they may have.

Education is at the forefront of the customer experience at Four Twenty. They believe that an informed customer is an empowered customer. Armed with a wealth of information about different strains, their effects, and their therapeutic properties, the budtenders are ready to guide customers through their options. From indica to sativa and everything in between, budtenders explain the nuances of each strain, helping customers find the perfect match for their needs.

In addition to answering customer inquiries and recommending top cannabis products, budtenders at Four Twenty play a crucial role in assisting customers, particularly newcomers to the cannabis scene. Their day-to-day responsibilities also involve educating customers on the various ways to enjoy cannabis and providing guidance on using cannabis paraphernalia effectively. Furthermore, they may offer support for those who are unfamiliar with rolling joints, stepping in to demonstrate and teach this essential skill.

Staying informed on industry trends

So, how do Four Twenty ensure all of their budtenders are knowledgeable? Well, since one of their main ambitions is to spread their knowledge about premium cannabis products, they prioritize extensive training. These dedicated staff members are educated on various cannabis products and strains to provide customers with accurate information and guidance.

The cannabis industry, especially in Thailand, is always changing. It seems like there are new laws and regulations every day. Plus, there are many new studies showcasing the medicinal advantages of cannabis and hemp products. Therefore, budtenders at Four Twenty are consistently informed about the latest industry trends and developments. This means that their day may also be full of training sessions, reading publications, and attending workshops.

Closing procedures: Wrapping up the day

As the day at Four Twenty Legal Cannabis Dispensary in Bangkok comes to a close, the budtender begins the closing procedures to wrap up the day’s operations. Like opening, they need to follow a closing SOP so all products are properly organized and stored safely.

Next, the budtender conducts a final check of the premises to see if all equipment is turned off and security measures are in place. Then, any remaining paperwork is completed, and any necessary notifications are sent to management regarding any issues or concerns from the day. Finally, after making sure that all tasks on the closing checklist have been completed, the budtenders lock up the dispensary for the night.

I'd be okay at checking the inventory and doing the displays, but I would absolutely excel at testing the new strains.

Could I bring munchies to work?
