Police arrested 21 suspects in 10 drug-related cases between May 31st and June 11th,
911 kilos or 36 million methamphetamine pills, and just over 5.kilograms of heroin were seized.


A senior narcotics officer said the number of arrests in the past eight months is almost double that of last year, adding that another large group of drug traffickers were being monitored. 

 

One hundred and twenty-six people have been arrested for betting on the Euro 2024 matches over the weekend, some were arrested for distributing tickets, others were caught betting while watching matches at bars, clubs and other venues.


Police have been told to continue monitoring venues showing live broadcasts of the Euros. 

 

A 36 year old man was killed and two others injured when a 10 wheeler truck plowed into a parked vehicle, one of the injured became trapped inside the 10 wheeler. Police are investigating the cause of the accident which took place at Bang Kae southwest Bangkok.

 

Thaksin Shinawatra is due to be formally charged with lèse majesté at the Criminal Court today. 
It’s believed Thaksin will not seek another postponement of the indictment, after failing to show up at the end of May.
