Violence Erupts Outside LA Synagogue Amid Clashes & Attacks on Jews

He needs to get on top of this, stamping it out before it spreads even further

President Joe Biden ‘appalled’ by violence during pro-Palestinian protest at Los Angeles synagogue

“I’m appalled by the scenes outside of Adas Torah synagogue in Los Angeles,” Biden said in post on social media site X. “Intimidating Jewish congregants is dangerous, unconscionable, antisemitic, and un-American.”

In a statement, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said the violence was “abhorrent” and that blocking access to a place of worship was unacceptable.

Bass said she asked the Los Angeles Police Department to provide additional patrols in Pico-Robertson and outside houses of worship citywide.

When you import immigrants, you often import the intolerant, homophobic, misogynistic, anti-semtic attitudes that come with them and are entirely unsuitable for Western societies.

Biden needs to get control of this before it spirals. Or before the likes of Dianne Abbott emerge from their hole to assure us this happens to ginger people as well.

Again this article mixed "anti-israel" and "antisemite".

"Pro-Palestine" doesn't mean mean to be "antisemite" or "anti-zionist". But it's media mainstream to follow the narrative of many govts round the (Western) world.🙏

How many of the scumbag protesters do you think would allow Jews to live in their version of Palestine? Or would condemn Hamas for their part in the violence in Gaza... sorry, their bias is obvious.  Anyone who is actually Pro-Palestine would also be completely against any part of Palestine being ruled by misogynistic terrorists.

It does make you wonder when the feds will step in and begin to use hate crimes, just like the south when they had to step in to save blacks because local officials were too corrupt to enforce the laws.

Feds have been investigating hate crimes and sure this no exception. Meanwhile hate crimes law increasing penalties for some crimes fuel by race, gender or sexual orientation are running out of time to get what could be a decisive vote in South Carolina. Republican Senate Majority leader Shane Massey simply said “ don’t hold your breathe”.

If they arent anti semitic, then why demonstate in front of a SYNAGOGUE?!? That is a Jewish building, not an Israeli one. AFAIK, Israel does not sponsor synagagoues. IF the protesters were anti-Israel, they should have protested in front of the Israeli consualate. I think they really showed their true feelings.

According to the story there was some kind of real estate event taking place in the Synagogue and there was a belief that plots of Palestinian land were being sold there. Of course that couldn't be true, could it?

The protests were organized by groups like Code Pink and the Party for Socialism and Liberation, allegedly in response to the sale of "stolen Palestinian land." Advertisement for the real estate event did not specify the areas being sold.

Ah yes, the 'greedy Jew' trope.  Seems to reinforce the anti semitic reasoning for the riot.

Not to mention, there is something strange about showing up at a "peaceful" protest with weapons like bear or pepper spray etc.

Right let's all run out and buy some cheap real estate huh.  So the title of this article is: Violence Erupts Outside LA Synagogue Amid Clashes & Attacks on Jews. That's not ok in my book. What about yours?

"Palestine won't have peace until the terrorists who are in charge are removed"

That's an illusion.

For any killed Hamas fighter there will be created new ones, eg their sons or daughters or wifes or any other surviving relatives.

There was not any war won by killing. There were always peace talks.

The Gaza war will have no winners.

Yeah, just like what happened after WW2 when all the Nazis were killed. Their kids and spouses all became Nazis and Germany remained in thrall of the Third Reich.  Try again.

Well, why not go back history to times of Romans and Persians????

That's ridiculous and not expedient.

Obviously you don't know the history of Israel and apparently don't know much about Germany's.

To make it understandable for you:

Israel occupied illegally Palestine. (forced by the Brits. "Israel" was British the protectorate).

Nobody internationally cared about the people who lived there = Palestinians.

The burden with the Jews were solved. They got their own state.

And, with European origin, they behaved as a superior race and oppressed the Palestinians who tried to keep parts of their land and fight against illegal occupation.

Israel illegally occupied the Golan Heights and the Westbank to secure their borders.

Look what happened some decades ago: The Brits were  kicked out of Kenya, or India, or South Africa or Rhodesia. Many examples.

I think Palestinians have a right to live in their own territory)state with respected border. And peace.🙏

Nice shift of the goalposts.

You were asserting that terrorists can't be 'killed' into not existing because their ideas will permeate into the next generation and so on. I provided a real world example of where that did not happen. You ignored it and instead wrote a long laundry list of talking points that had nothing to do with your original point.

Classic tactic. I'll give you a "B-".

At the land sale meeting at the synagogue, one piece of land was in the illegally occupied West Bank. This is a remarkable provocation.

Assisting in the occupation of territory illegally occupied under international law and doing so, so brazenly in a time of war, where Israel has destroyed vast swathes of Gaza, is truly bad taste.

But more important than bad taste, Israeli civilians in the West Bank are occupiers, and it is part of Israeli military policy to use Israeli citizens to assist in the occupation. This means they can be designated as military targets.

Obviously synagogues, in contrast to churches, are more like community halls rather than simply places of worship*. So a land sale meeting there is not particularly surprising.

*For the less sharp readers among you, of course I recognise that synagogues have worship in them.

Do you have any evidence of this land sale? I looked for it and didn't find any.

Lovely, except only about 1/3 of Jews in Israel are European in origin. And Jews have lived there for 4000 years. And "Palestinian" is a construct of the pervert Arafat in the 1960s. And there are 22 Arab states for Arabs to move to if they don't like Israel.

What border do YOU think a Palestinian state should have?

Following this absurd route it would mean to kill ALL Palestinians??

You would have to say YES, because how would you identify the terrorists??? As far as I know they don't have a sticker on their shirts saying " I'm a terrorist".

Could you follow how silly it is?😳

...and you still cannot answer why, IF Germany could be ne-Nazified, then why cannot Gaza be de-Hamasified? Both are similar repugnant and racist ideologies that permeated their regions for many years.

Person holding a weapon- terrorist.

Person holding hostages- terrorist.

Person aiding and hiding terrorists- possible terrorist, depending on the circumstances.

Person hiding terrorist weapons and so on, see above.

Not so hard.
