I have sugar problem
I disagree with that opinion. Sugar and starchy carbs are a major issue, and right behind trans fats & junk food. Cut way back on both, and healthier (blood work #s) and feel much better. -

Put yourself in their shoes. Way back when, most of us filthy unvaccinated would say things like “up to you…it’s your choice…it’s between you and your doctor”. But the vaxxed would cajole, denigrate and shame all of us unvaxxed. If we, however said our doctor suggested that it might not be good for us we would be told “your doctor is a quack!! Get another doctor!!” culminating in us being told to “get the jab” by quite a few on here (no need to name names) and subsequently shunned by friends and family. I was even invited to have coffee one time by a forum member here…until he found out I was unvaxxed…then I was dropped like a leper. They will hold onto their beliefs until the bitter end because of course, that is better than admitting they were wrong and “having blood on their hands”. And when the time comes for them to “meet their maker”….well… ”There are no atheists in foxholes” And then, it is too late. -

Just to let you’all know I’ll refrain from posting on Orstrayin politics and problems with their country/government. Ditto for UK. It's the right thing NOT to do. Maybe I’ll start a trend on other’s posting about America's. Every time I look at exchange rates I think it’s great to be American. Don’t hate.- 1

Retirement Extension 800k, Phuket
Yes, the address up to date is now checked all the time, when I arrive the landlady does it next day, then when I go on bike tour various hotels re-register with new address. Last time I went to get re-entry permit stamp + 90 days report, and they checked and said you're registered in Nakhon Si Thamarat...!? Not Phuket... I had to call my landlady from the immigration office and beg her to update my address quickly, fortunately she was available and did it on her phone app that they have, officer immediately saw the update on his computer and said it's okay now..., lucky, saved me another trip...! -

Who lives on 20k a month ?
Not to my knowledge. There were talks about it some years ago, but that was for migrant workers from neighbouring countries. However, there are a number of Thai insurance companies that have relative affordable plans which can cover many, if not most, costs at government hospitals. -

Did you read the post I responded to? I think if you read all the posts on this thread you will find a number that aren't strictly about living on 20,000 baht a month, including your post about dreams. But, I find nothing at all wrong with that. I like that a thread can often go somewhat off topic--I find it can keep things interesting. I was responding to a post that questioned why anyone not interested in the nightlife would choose to live in Pattaya. That was also off-topic but I felt it deserved a response from someone who actually lives in Pattaya, which I gave. -
