Stray Dogs Kill 70 Fighting Cocks at Thai Farm:

Stray dogs killed 70 fighting cocks at a cockfighting farm in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, resulting in a 60,000 baht loss. The farm owner, Nonthawat Konsungnoen, discovered the attack and urged the former owner of the dogs to take responsibility. Nonthawat plans to distribute the surviving chickens to villagers.

They are stray...  ergo - there is no owner who could, or would take responsibility.

Not only this reason, but there are many reasons why dogs either need to be 'collared' and owned, whereby an owner takes responsibility for their animal, or, they are considered stray and removed (by whatever means) from area's where they can cause damage or harm.

People may not like the idea of 'removing stray dogs' - but someone is feeding them and this creates greater opportunity for them to breed and exacerbate existing problems.

When will Thailand wake up and do something about all these poor stray dogs that is found everywhere!! They do actually have a hard life and I do many times feel sorry for them. They do create a rather hazardous time for motorbikes and an unlucky stranger passing. They also hurt and kill people sometimes. Just get rid of them in a way that does not make them suffer. In any case, private dogs should be the responsibility of the owner. Dogs that attack people should be taken down immediately!

He should also kill off and distribute the dogs as well to the villagers.
