Me thinks that maybe your assumptions about the media you seem to despise were a bit off. I give you that MSNBC and CNN have a bias in that the pick the stories the audience likely want and they present too much of Trump and not enough actually important stories. But you may be surprised that they are often critical of the left when warranted. And the criticisms of Trump aren't so much an unfair bias in my opinion as a different world view whereby he really is an appalling candidate and person  in an objective way. I think newscaster in years gone by from the 60's onwards, many whom you probably respect, would have presented Trump in a similarly bad light.

In summary I was not surprised a bit to see a fairly presented debate.

I dont like the establishment!

I was a liberal/ Independent voter from Massachusetts .

My whole life changed when I Got divorced back in 2010 .

A friend I just met then, said Obama was a socialist  , I didnt think much about it but I started hearing more & more.

I voted for him the first time because I was young and foolish and wasn’t paying attention , like most .

2 years into his first administration is  when i realized the once  community organizer from Chicago was the king of BS politics .( I will not be swayed by Lobbyists, he said.I never voted dem again.

Trump loves the flag! I love my anthem

I love my Nationalism.

The thought of open borders and Globalization disgusts me.

It is amusing that so many are ready to throw the democratically nominated candidate out and just pick someone because they have to save democracy...

Feel free to use the linked database and make a comparison between the U.S. and other developped countries over several years. It will show that the inflation levels have been similar and rather well correlated for decades, as it is also the case today.

Booming economies have higher inflation as a general rule - Yes?  EU has been in a slump for a while and the USA has been at full throttle.

No, leftist economists have just started saying that.

Juicing the economy by printing money is like drugging a horse for a race.

While not singling out you, I wish people would stop with this 'convicted felon Trump' -- it carries as much weight with the people who will likely support him as "Grammy award winner".

In NY State the lowest level Series E felony of his 34 count conviction would be the same for Criminal mischief in the third degree which would include painting significant graffiti onto the wall of a building that doesn’t belong to you.

Murderers and armed bank robbers could also be called "convicted felons".

Your on the path methinks.

The founding fathers would of been hanged , for Treason, if caught by the Brit army.

The international left dont get it!

They think its degrading!

My country was established by a bunch of rich felons.

More data free statement.

Growth was a bit higher in the U.S. but no "booming economy" in 2019.

On the other hand, check the difference in 2023....

That is the problem with old people who are fading. They CAN have good, even very good days. But those days are unpredictable and often repetitive. And flanked by terrible and horrible days.

Biden did well with his teleprompter and giving a 5 minute address to an adoring crowd.  The debate, remember the format and moderators were ALL chosen by the Democrats, highlighted his weaknesses in terms of mental agility and concentration. And those skills never get better, only worses.

It was apparent the second he took those steps to the podium!

bidengait!

Have you noticed NOT one Democratic talking head is talking about or joyously waiting for the second Presidential debate scheduled for September. Hmmm wonder why. Only one talking about it is the cognitive mentally unfit Biden himself. Tells you all you need to know,  and now **Biden's regime protection media activists are not trying to cover this up. Humiliation for Biden and more great additions to his failed and pathetic legacy

Too funny. The good thing though is Biden "finally beat medicare"

LOL

**Joes so awesome,,,I'll have you know...

  • What part of Trumps economy was "failed:
  • low interest rates
  • affordable groceries
  • low inflation
  • low fuel prices
  • higher real wages
  • affordable housing purchase
  • low credit card debt
  • low child poverty compared to Biden
  • no costly war / corruption funding to the grifter in UA
  • high volume SPR
  • throw in low crime, VERY secure border and 1/3 the covid deaths of Biden, who had the benefit of a vaccine , Trump did not.

You lie and gaslight worse than Biden, and all low IQ bidenites,  so quit with the lies and gaslighting and trying to embarrass yourself.

You got NOTHING but desperation, you're fooling nobody.

Life was better everywhere in the world, before Covid, including in the U.S. Nothing to do with Trump.

BTW, you're not going to compare a few months of Covid under Trump, who started 2020 with zero Covid deaths, with three years of Biden's mandate, who started his mandate in the middle of a Covid wave inherited from Trump. 😀

Biden just isn't good in debates.  It isn't his strong point.  Four years ago when he debated Trump he didn't do well and last Thursday night was even worse.  This will basically end up a repeat of Thursday at best.

Its was a Defcon 1 tragedy!

When have you ever seen the Left almost bitterly caught with their panties down ( not counting the Clinton oval office) scandal?

Or, maybe time to re-watch the Nixon-Kennedy debate that lost Nixon the election?

Either one of these guys could have out-debated Biden, and Trump, no matter how many debates were held.

Biden can return to debate Trump, once more, if he wishes.

But, nobody will forget his first debate with Trump this year.

It will be one for the history books.

No recovery for Biden, and so what is the point of another debate which will only add undue stress to a VERY Old Man....

We can do without such cruelty.

I'm not buying the cold excuse regardless.

That was the most atrocious failure in a televised presidential debate in American history. It's not about one man. It's about beating fascism.

Yes, even Nixon did FAR, FAR better in his debates with Kennedy, of course.

Possibly the worst part for Biden was either forgetting or refusing to acknowledge the deaths of Americans serving in the military during his presidency. To forget them, to fail to honour their sacrifice, in order to try and score a cheap political point in a debate, is utterly depraved. The families of those dead soldiers and marines must be livid. All Joe can talk about is his own son's tragic and premature death. The rest? They don't exist as far as Biden is concerned.

Trump polling after this winable debate rose .4 lol

Which means Americans are often stupid. We knew that 50 years ago. They voted in Clinton twice, Bush jnr twice and Biden once.  The average American can't name 3 countries starting with the letter T. Biden himself was stupid in 1980 but they vote for him in 2020 as a declining joke. He was mumbling speeches in 2019. The system is broken and most voters have a low IQ.
