Drum and monkey was a great bar back in the day.

 

Cost the owner a lot of coin when his wife killed that young Thai couple on second road.

There are loads of Brits in Pattaya - some decent, some intelligent, some scummy, some entertaining and some dangerous to know.But there is a common factor which unites them all - not one speaks English with received pronunciation or is in the upper/upper middle class demographic.

 

On reflection I suppose there may be a few such types tucked away but they are a tiny minority.As far as Pattaya is concerned the Brit population is overwhelmingly plebeian.

The bars of New Plaza (2nd Road near Pattaya Klang) are pretty much dominated by Brits.  There you can also see the largest concentration of U.K. prison tattoos outside of HM Prison Wandsworth.

Looking at him I don’t feel one bit of jealousy, I don’t really see him as successful, just talks as if he is like a lot of YouTubers do.

Take a look at Dan Cheeseman, now there's a very successful British business man in Pattaya, Russian wife also very successful in the Pattaya real estate biz. Dan walks the walk, no BS from him, no posting on an anonymous forum, he has a proven track record, he was part owner of this site, alot of followers on YouTube etc, he even has his own app to download for free, check Dan out, you won't be disappointed.

Dan sounds like the type of highly successful farang who has really made it in Thailand and the sort of person I want to surround myself with. 
I hope I can meet him one day.
