Do you suspect that the change in the location of the topics feed and/or the presence of the green up arrow and/or the absence of a down arrow are related to the problem of the notifications not working properly on your computer? -

CIMB bank
It is the same with UOB and about every other Thai bank. Thai banks discriminate a lot, especially in the higher interest paying accounts, which they make available to Thai nationals only. -

Hua Hin
Actually it got worse, with congestion, no parking, and price increases across the board. Only good additions, are BluPort & Market Village. Use to be a regular stop for us, a short wee, about 15 yrs running, then down to, 1 or 2 nights, and then points beyond southward. About 4 times a year during school breaks Now it's simply a pitstop, munch & quick shopping on the way back home, after a visit to Krung Thep. We're only 100 kms away, and we don't bother with HH much. Pop in a few times a year when driving by, and once for Immigration (extension). -

CIMB bank
This I fail to understand. CIMB is a bank like all others in Thailand, so why would nobody use them if they didn't pay more interest? Some accounts are Thai nationality only, same as many higher interest accounts at all Thai banks. I have learned that all Thai bank managers make up their own rules, so now I only talk with the head offices only about the conditions, then ask them to inform the branch I intend to visit. CIMB has a 12 month fixed senior account, as per the OP, that needs Thai identification, not Thai nationality. They have a 7 month fixed 2% account that foreigners can open. -

I'm seeing the same using Firefox and Win11. To take you to the correct place in a thread try clicking on the address bar to highlight the whole address and press enter. It works for me. -

Pink I.D Card & Yellow Book
I had a TIN from before the covids, last year got a pink ID. Tried to file online, but neither number was recognized. Went to district TRD office, was told Pink ID was my tax number. TIN was cancelled and provincial office activated pink ID number in the online system.- 1

CIMB bank
CIMB gives a bit more interest because otherwise there wouldn't be any reason to use them. But as chiang mai said, they don't let a foreigner open a fixed deposit. If your branch allows it, I would not hesitate to do it.
